This page outlines the TA approach to psychotherapy.

TA is a way of understanding yourself and how and why you behave, think and feel the way you do. It helps you to understand how relationships work and why they sometimes go wrong.

 Whatever the problem(s) that bring you to seek help, you would have learnt certain patterns of thinking, feeling, acting and reacting, and these influence the way you deal with problems.

 TA can help you to understand these patterns and see how they may be getting in the way of coping effectively with your life now.

It also offers ways of changing them. The basic theory was designed to be easily grasped, and I'm likely to explain some of it to you during the course of our work.
